NAME
uptrack-uname - print the Ksplice Uptrack effective kernel version.
SYNOPSIS
uptrack-uname [OPTION]
DESCRIPTION
uptrack-uname prints the effective kernel version according to Ksplice Uptrack. It accepts
uname(1) command-line options and produces compatible output.
OPTIONS
--version
Show program's version number and exit.
--help
Show a help message and exit.
UNAME(1) OPTIONS
-a, --all
Print all information, in the following order, except omit -p and -i if unknown.
-s, --kernel-name
Print the kernel name.
-n, --nodename
Print the network node hostname.
-r, --kernel-release
Print the kernel release.
-v, --kernel-version
Print the kernel version.
-m, --machine
Print the machine hardware name.
-p, --processor
Print the processor type or "unknown".
-i, --hardware-platform
Print the hardware platform or "unknown".
-o, --operating-system
Print the operating system.
UPTRACK-SPECIFIC OPTIONS
--package-version
Print the effective version of the distribution's kernel package, on a separate line.
--no-fallback
Exit with failure when effective kernel data is unavailable, rather than falling back
to the original kernel version.
